I love how he's been talking with people from the 80s 49ers teams and other similar teams to try and figure out how it CAN be done. Great attitude and strategy.

I love listening to Dean speak.

When I saw the thread, the first thing I thought was how long till he mentions San Jose... Bam, first question!

Wonder why he hasn't mentioned the Bulls at all? I mean Phil can't be that hard to get ahold of can he? And what about that other team that plays in LA....

Lots of good stuff in this interview. This one is really wise:

"Once you think you have all the answers, then you're an idiot. No man is a fool until he stops asking questions, and there was a load of questions I asked. I found what these men have done and found I'm a long way to go before I figure this out. I already filled a notebook."

Here's one that epitomizes LGK:

I'm pretty sure DL and Ned Colletti are friends and speak regularly, but the Dodgers have only won two playoff series since 1988, so I'm not sure that's the best idea. . . . Or were you talking about the Clippers?
