Don't know this dude's source, but sounds like it has credence.

Well its clear that the offense is going to really have to pick it up. They're going to have to be in the top 10 in the league from here on out if this is going to work. No more scoring one or two and holding on for dear life and hoping they win. It won't work w/ the patchwork defense they're going to be running w/ this point on. And paging Drew Doughty, please pick up the white courtesy phone please. You are paid to be the man, you MUST be the man the rest of the way. You're the veteran, act and play like it.

Not clear on the IR/injury rules in the NHL so maybe someone can help me out here...

If Mitchell had let the team know "by the way, cleared or not, I'm going to need a month or two of conditioning and getting used to playing w/ this injury"... couldn't we have put him on the IR and kept Hickey with the big club?

This tweet. Jeremy later clarified in several follow up tweets that HE is the one in rehab. Was not referring to anyone on the team. Feel free to check out his twitter feed

@JeremyZager: My tweet was about me personally folks. I deleted it since it apparently confused people.

    This is bad. Really bad.

Drewiske has been playing ok.... but he's a bottom pairing Defenseman. What is our D going to look like now?

    Doughty-Ellerby?
    Voynov-Scuderi?
    Drewiske-Muzzin/Campbell?

That looks pretty scary weak to me. I would say we need to break up Scuderi/Doughty just to spread them between weaker lines... of course though Voynov has been our best D all year, so not sure Scuds should be on his pairing.
