Thread: All inclusive kings jersey, merchandise thread

Is anyone else having huge problems with Shop NHL and getting an actual person on the phone? I'm trying to return this SC cup final jersey that they messed up and all I get is a voicemail. I've left numerous messages but no call back.

........ does anyone want an away jersey with the cup final patch basically over the logo?

I just returned my jersey and the refund was processed. When I called, I had to dial the option to place a new order. When I press the button to inquire about a previous order, I never get through.

They are 24/7, so you should be able to get in this way.

Just an update

Called the Shop NHL hotline number and instead of going to returns went to "place an order" and immediately spoke to a customer service rep who helped me out and the botched la kings jersey will be returned for a full refund.

Have priced having it made....$40 each plus 1x artwork $60 fee.
Booster Club used to have company supply them for free....no info this year until late August.
Anyone know of a company that can make them for less than mentioned above?
MUST have it say 2012 Stanley Cup Champs with logo.

After doing some post purchase research, I found that the NHL shop is in fact not the best place to buy your customized jersey. I was so excited to receive my jersey only to find out that they had misplaced the Captain "C". I was however able to contact them in the wee hours of the morning and was able to get a refund on my purchase. Lesson learned.

Thank you for your link though, I did look up some reviews from people about jersey express and it seems like they're pretty legit at least in regards to "authentic" jerseys. So in the near future I think what I'll do is purchase a blank authentic jersey and either send it out to be customized or even just have it done during a game at the team shop.

I am a jersey collector and have ordered customized stuff from many places. NHL Shop was by far the worst. The best deal going right now is at icejerseys.com. They do a very good job with customization and they are running a 30% off sale right now. Only drawback is that they are sold out of Kings authentics it looks like. Good deal for a Premier jersey though.

If your able to find a cheap authentic blank, I would suggest mailing it off for customization to either EPS (Exclusive Pro Sports) or Icejerseys. I also hear River City Sports does some very nice work.

I wouldn't let your team shop touch it. Majority of team shops do very rushed work, and at most places, its a crapshoot on the quality. If Im gonna pay $200 for an authentic jersey, I want it done the right.

I have a blank Reebok Premier Road Jersey with the SC Finals patch on it in men's large that I bought from the Team LA Store for $175.00 during the finals. It is in perfect condition and has been worn twice and washed twice. It is way too big so I was going to return it using my AMEX return protection service. With this I can return the jersey and receive full price minus shipping back to AMEX.

I would rather see it go to a Kings fan and seeing that they are sold out everywhere I thought I would offer it here first. I will sell it for $160.00 (175.00 - shipping to AMEX more or less) and we can do a local pickup in the LA/OC area. Let me know if anyone is interested or else its off to AMEX.

I second this. IceJerseys.com takes pride in their customization and makes sure everything is 100% authentic. You'll never see any cheap vinyl numbers coming from them.

I've had numerous jerseys made for me over the years but only once did I ever send anything to someone to get customized. At the start of the 01-02 season I had a Lappy jersey made by some hockey shop in Toronto. They were able to do everything I wanted (putting an A on, ASG patch, & AM patch), the only thing was that they didn't have the AM patches in stock. So, I purchased one on EBay and sent it to them. Everything went perfect. Not something that I'd want to do again, I'd rather everything is all in the same place at the same time, but I suppose I got lucky that one time.
