Yes, $18.00 was a lot of money back then. I had to get customs for cheerleading and that didn't leave much left over for real 'school shoes'. Did you get them at the Vans store in Lakewood? I remember it being like a trailer that was turned into a tiny permanent structure. You could hardly move around if there was anyone else in there. I later worked in the office that was built in its place after they moved across the street to a new building.

Haha! Yup that about sums it up (except the shirt probably was a Hang 10 -- you know with the feet logo). And one of the shoes had blue in the front, yellow in the middle, and red in the back, and the other show was the same but with the blue and red reversed.

I don't remember where it was, but I grew up in Seal Beach, so the location sounds about right. I remember how tough it was convincing my mother to let me get them and to take me to the store to place the order. I drive past the big Vans building in Cypress all time now. It always brings back great memories of those days!

My friend just got his jersey from IceJerseys last week. He had the Finals patch sewn on. While it was not blatantly in the wrong place like it was from Shop.NHL, it was still a little bit off. The line on the shoulder that the patch is sewn over didn't touch the correct parts of the Stanley Cup like they did in that one Kings Vision video.

Has anyone else ordered from them and had this issue? Maybe I'm just being nitpicky, but so far Team LA is the only place that has it just like the video and how I've seen it in close ups of the players.

Team LA Store is really pissing me off... I had an older jersey sent in for some stitching (2000'ish Robitaille) and they left a message that it was done and ready to pick up. And every time I've called them, they've been CLOSED (for a concert, or WNBA game, or whatever)... I tried calling numerous times and nobody ever picks up the damn phone.

And NOW I'm calling them and they are CLOSED for a month for re-inventory!! What a mess... whoever runs that place needs to be fired.
