I can vouch for that. I'm usually a medium but they were just snug enough that when they shrink it'll look baaaaad on me (nobody wants to see me in a skin-tight shirt...........except Mitchrock). But the large makes me look like I'm wearing my older brother's shirt........until is shrinks enough to look right.

FYI, there are two different styles. One has completely flat numbers on the back and one has very slightly raised numbers. I don't know how to tell the difference but I liked the slightly raised one better.

I just ironed on my SCF patch, man, it was a task to get the plastic backing off of that thing! I cut an "X" in it, from top to bottom with an xacto knife. i then put a pillow case between the patch and the iron, zapped it for a solid 10-12 seconds, proceed to try to peel the backing of, repeated this about 3 times until I was able to get it off. After that it is cake. That being said, I'll probably take it to someone that knows how to sew, just for that extra reassurance and longevity.

I bought a couple of Stanley Cup Final patches for my sister and I. We have the home jerseys and I can't decide if I should sew the patches onto our jerseys or iron them on.

I like the idea of sewing them on, but I'm iffy about sewing a white patch on a black jersey. I don't like the idea of some of the white thread showing against my jersey and looking cheap. Has anyone sewn their patch on their black jersey? Or just sewn a patch on a different colored jersey? How did it turn out? Pics plz? I've never sewn a patch before, let alone on one of my beloved jerseys, so I'd appreciate any advice.

Ironed on the patches to 6 jerseys. Some say overkill, I say not enough!
