Are these the same book? I realize the pictures on the website are different, but they have the same ISBN number and publisher.

I was just at Sport Chalet at Crystal Court/South Coast Plaza and they had tons of Stanley Cup Champs shirts, hats, towels and pennants. They had a great variety of womens shirts too. They had a bunch of the black/purple jerseys and a black homeplate one, as well as the wierd style silkscreened jerseys too.
I was surprised to see Rangers, Bruins, Sharks and Blackhawks jerseys there too. They even had Cryotes shirts and hats!

whaaa... really? good thing i didn't buy it yet. i was going to put in an order this week after my husband got a bonus, but i guess i won't be getting that one. i really just want a book with a bunch of the photos from the playoffs like in the thread that is stickied in home ice, but in print.
hmmm... but are there a lot of photos from the playoffs? that's really what i'm looking for actually anyway.
i caved and bought another 8" replica for myself since the photos look so nice. i'll keep it on our mantle with a bunch of other mementos. i also bought this:

it's kind of weird how fast this stuff is disappearing. i put off ordering that phone case because it said there was a 2-3 week delay and that it was an advance order (like a preorder, i'm guessing), but now teamla, shopnhl and sports authority don't have it on their site anymore.
then that 8" replica isn't in all the places i saw it before either.
When I saw the book at Barnes and Noble, I thought it was pretty decent in terms of pictures and probably better than the official NHL one:
Amazon.com: The Year of the Los Angeles Kings: Celebrating the 2012 Stanley Cup Champions (9780771051104): NHL, Andrew Podnieks: Books
Most of the articles were written during the playoffs by the LA times and this book is basically a compilation of all that, up to the Special Edition newspaper the day of the rally.
The official NHL one seems to have slightly more back story about the history of the Kings and the stats of players from the Gretzky era, but the LA times one seems to have the better pictures. So it depends on what you want.
I'm having a difficult time deciding myself and may just get both.
