I have one of the old-school forum blue jerseys. It's a CCM. I've seen the Reeboks everywhere with the little "NHL" thing at the neck. Are these any more "authentic" than mine? My thought on the matter is that the CCM ones are the "authentic" re-releases of the actual vintage jerseys, and the Reeboks are more like the ones that the Kings actually wear on the ice in the Legends night games.

I know none of that matters, I'm just curious I guess. I'm kind of bummed I ordered the CCM because the Reeboks color is much "deeper", the purple looks so deep and beautiful, but I had never seen that before I went to Staples for the Finals (I hadn't seen one of those jerseys worn by a fan before) My CCM looks old, which is the point I guess. Either way, could I get a link to where they sell the "Reebok" throwbacks. I searched forever before I ordered my CCM and I literally only found one site that had the forum blue as the primary color, and it was by CCM.

the ccm one you have is the replica that reebok sold to the public

they arent even authentic re-releases. the old ones had a smaller crown with a white border and no purple after the gold stripe on the bottom

the Reebok one youre seeing is the "authentic" that the players wore on the ice and was sold on a few websites in very limited supply 2 seasons ago

youll see alot of them online but 95% of them are fake



if you really want to get picky the authentic RBK that was sold wasnt completely authentic

the kings wore airknit while the one sold to fans was the old edge material

Finally got around to posting pictures of the jersey from Shop NHL. The black jersey is from Team LA with the patch in the right place. The white one is from Shop NHL.

What you have is an official replica. It was sold as legit Kings merchandise and I think is still sold at Staples during games. The thing is that it's not representative of the vintage jerseys the players have been wearing on the ice for the past 2 seasons. It's closer to being a REPLICA of the actual jerseys from the late 70's than it is of the ones from recent years. Still, they're not that far off. It just depends on how detail oriented you are. Me, I'm very big on details with my jerseys, so I would pass on them but overall, there's nothing really that wrong with them. It's just preference.

If it's not game worn what's the difference if it's authentic? IMO, your milage will vary.

I ordered a white one too and mine came looking EXACTLY the same, patch in the exact same place. So bad

I don't understand the mad rush for the Stanley Cup Final patch. Won't the Kings be coming out with a Stanley Cup Championship patch next fall?
