I wouldn't be suprised to find out that LA is not getting that Stadium and they are out of the race for an NFL team right now.

What "race" are you speaking of? There aren't other cities clamoring for an NFL team. Its just a matter or time before LA gets a team.

Except that the Kings are hardly the center point of this deal. I think it's purely coincidence that AEG is being sold following the Kings Stanley Cup run. I think it's a feather in their cap, but the bulk of the value is outside of the Kings franchise. AEG has built up what it considers a premiere entertainment destination. The economy is turning around. And now they want to cash in.

Don't forget, AEG has already sold most of the Soccer teams that they owned around the world. Some of the buildings too if I'm not mistaken. It just seems like Downtown L.A. was his crown jewel project. He did what he set out to do and won some Championships along the way. He changed the face of Downtown Los Angeles...in a HUGE way. That's when you go out...on top. He might not survive another huge project like Los Angeles, so maybe... just maybe the guy wants to actually enjoy the rest of his life without the stress. Seriously, he rebuilt one of the biggest, most famous cities in the world. How do you top that?

How about an avatar bet. Whoever loses has to use the avatar the winner selects? Obviously it has to be within the rules of the board.

this is great, the kings are going to another billionaire who does not care about the Kings.

On the assumption that a sale of AEG will require a name change, let's hope someone with a last name that begins with "K" is the buyer.
