Thread: Anschutz Considering Selling AEG?!?

i wonder why he is selling. i look up the nfl rules and they dont prohibit this. and im sure he doesnt need the money. and selling all of AEG is a pretty drastic step. sorry for the bad punctuation.

its also interesting to note that since it is AEG up for sale and not just the Kings, things would likely stay the same since anyone who is able to afford AEG would see the Kings as a rounding error (much like Anschutz does)

leads me to believe that AEG owns everything.

I will start a riot if a new owner buys the kings and moves them.

As long as it's not Zuckerberg or Mccourt.

I believe he has ties to Qwest Regal Entertainment and several railroad and oil companies and most likely several other entities that are separate from AEG.
Besides if he sells this he most likely has enough money to retire and go to a few more games

oh. of course.

AEG is just one of the divisions of the Anschutz empire. The more I look at things the more I doubt he is selling this for NFL or money reasons. I have a feeling that this is a bit of an older person making the type of decisions that will effect his heirs.

If AEG actually sells, it's gonna go for at least $3 billion. It's definitely gonna be a group that comes in with that kind of money.
