Thread: Anthony's Arena Analysis: Thank You LGK

No It's not a Ghost, It's actually me lol.

It's been a while since I've posted on here but wanted to just come by and personally thank everyone who previously read, looked forward to, and enjoyed my Articles here on LGK.

Back in 2007 I walked into Staples Center for an LA kings Hockey game knowing not a player on the ice, nor a fan in the crowd. Fast foward 4 and a half years later and Hockey has become not only my favorite Sport, but a huge huge part of my Life. 8 Kings Jerseys in my closet, Every copy of EA sports NHL games 07-13, a LA Kings Bed Sheet, and a Kings License plate on my car to name a few pieces of evidence.

The people that I've been surrounded by these past years at L.A Kings home games aren't just fans, they aren't just a community, they're family. I mean that in the truest sense of the word. These people have invited me to their homes, to parties, taken me across the country to see the Kings play different places, invited me to their Weddings, countless dinners, call me and check on me if I miss a game, you name it. I've met and made some life long friends, and will take some amazing lasting memories with me wherever I go in life because of the kindness and love NHL fans here in L.A NATURALLY show. All that to Me, just an average young African American guy showing them to their seats at the games and holding people while the puck is in play over the years. I'm kinda getting sappy writing this but I can't help it because for the past 4 years around this time I'm getting ready to see all of you and for the first time I'm not, and I really miss everyone, especially coming off such a breath-taking season.

From top to bottom at Staples center, Security, Guest Services, Base Management and upper management, I can say we LOVE LOVE LOVE the Kings and Kings fans. With the lockout in place I can't help but think to myself how I'd gladly work the Kings games for free, because that's how much I love our fanbase, what I do, and the Team. I know the lockout will be fixed in due time and we'll have another awesome moment to share this year as we watch our Championship banner raised.
