I remember doing the math on this last year... In 2011-12, all but eight teams had at least one empty-net-game-tying goal. In 2010-11, six of those eight teams had one.

The two that hadn't had one since 2009-10 were St. Louis and your Los Angeles Kings. When we met in the playoffs, only the first 58 minutes counted; there weren't going to be any late comebacks there!

Thanks for doing the leg work on that, I couldn't remember the last time that had happened and was planning on researching it when I got home.
