I would love for any LA sports team to have

    *ahem*

El Pueblo de Nuestra Señora la Reina de los Ángeles del Río de Porciúncula on the jersey.

Though there probably wouldn't be any room for a logo, number, or player name.

Great find! I wonder how they are getting edge 2.0 jerseys to sell retail? I don't know of any other place that sells them non game used.

I've been buying jerseys from River City Sports since ~1996 and have had no problem with them.

    Until now.

In March I decided to treat the wife and myself to new sweaters in anticipation of the playoffs. The site says the shipping will be 4-6 weeks and they indeed arrived 40 days later.

Both jerseys were done very wrong. The tackle twill one of the numbers on the back was cracked/split/not sewn correctly and the numbers on both sleeves were applied far too high above the stripes. I'm talking 3-4" too high, they were practically on the shoulders.

I emailed RCS the above pics, info about the problem, and all my contact info but did not hear from them for days. I ended up calling for info. The person I spoke to acted as if he just didn't care. I had to send the jersey back to them at my expense ($29!).

2 weeks goes by with no contact from RCS so I call them, only to be told "Oh yeah, I saw that box the other day and was meaning to get around to it".

After another 6 weeks of delays, excuses, and inaction I ended having to dispute the transaction with Visa. For whatever reason they just would not complete the job I had paid for. I guess business is really booming for them and they just don't care.

    Avoid River City Sports!

An authentic jersey is what the players wear on the ice ie: Better stitching, tie down ect. The premier is a replica of that jersey and is why the cost is significantly less. You can usually get a premier jersey with name and number for about the same or less than an authentic without. I personally only buy authentics but that's really just a personal preference.

All the other times I dealt with RCS was smooth sailing, never had to deal with their customer service. I hope you avoid the problems I had.

About 2 weeks ago I disputed the transaction and Visa had the $ back in my account in a few days. Haven't heard a word about it from RCS since.
