Thread: Bad Computer Graphic Behind Nets on FSN

I completely agree. The image needed some opacity and even possibly a small blur so it matched the surrounding areas focus. Hopefully they will get it dialed in. Kings live was almost funny when the camera was shaking from the win and they always forgot to turn off the mics before they would cut to commercial. First couple of broadcasts after probably tons of changes after winning the cup so hopefully they clean up things up.

Other than Bob & Jim the pre-game shows have always been mediocre. I don't know who to blame, but this is LA so it is quite sad this is the production value and quality they think meets up to an LA standard. I applied for the job, but obviously they found someone way more qualified.

The worst was when they briefly experimented with superimposing large corporate logos behind the baselines on tennis telecasts. Unwatchable.

Did the "Farmers John" computer graphic annoy anyone else on the TV broadcast of the game? I am not sure what the official name for that type of graphic but usually they aren't distracting during baseball games but my eyes were constantly distracted by it. I have seen that same kind of graphic used by other teams' home broadcasts ... I agree, it's distracting and looks terrible. We already have ads all over the boards and then 4 prominent ads in the neutral zone, not sure why they need to add even more ads behind the goal.

Guess I have tunnel vision because I'm always so busy watching games that it takes someone pointing out like the booby babes behind Sutter before I even notice it.

gotta pay for the lockout somehow. Actually, I'm kinda GLAD to see the Kings do this - it means they have reached a level of popularity that they can SELL this type of advertising.

A few years ago (JLB era LOL) they couldn't give this ad away.

Well looks like who every they found is failing. They should hire us. I would just superimpose MVP above Quicks goal.
