Bad Computer Graphic Behind Nets on FSN
Did the "Farmers John" computer graphic annoy anyone else on the TV broadcast of the game? I am not sure what the official name for that type of graphic but usually they aren't distracting during baseball games but my eyes were constantly distracted by it. I found the image didn't track right and just looked bad. Anyone else hate this?
I searched and couldn't find this. I hope Im not bringing up old news.

I hate it as well, but if you were distracted by it then it served it's purpose I guess.

My (blonde) wife was like, "How do those people behind the net see anything?"

Consider ourselves lucky. Other teams broadcasts have been doing that for a couple years now.
Guess FSN has to pay Anson Carter somehow.

I'm willing to have those two ads on the glass as long as the jerseys don't start looking like NASCAR fire-suits.

This sort of thing has been a part of European Football broadcasts for a while. If it helps to keep ticket prices down, go for it.

I think it was so blatant because we are not accustomed to it. I'm sure that after a few games it will blend in with the other numerous logos visible at any point in a broadcast.

The new fad up here is to have multiple ads on the behind-the-net glass. For a televised game at the Dome: I've seen 2 up at a time on Sportsnet (TSN's little brother from another media conglomerate's mother), along with the in-arena sign still showing.

Just wait, soon enough they will have ads wrap all the way around the glass. :|
