Thread: Bailey's Buddies 2012-13 NOW Available!

not sure if this thread is still about bailey's buddies or the banner, but...



every year i buy bailey's buddies memberships the day they go on sale--enough for me to get one ticket to every single available game, and then two more (using the onesy-twosy system) to each of what i think will be the sold out games of the year. i sell those pairs on ebay to fund my purchase of individual tickets to the remainder of home games. i then sell the bobble head dolls in boxes minus the team la card and popcorn/pizza hut vouchers for about $15 each, to further fund home games. at the end of the season the ice crew sells memberships at events for $5 each, with everything minus tickets, and also gives you 5 raffle tickets. i wait for everyone to buy their normal quantity of memberships, then i buy out the ice crew. if they brought a case of bobble head boxes, i buy the whole case. if two, then two cases. i do this at every event towards the end of the season or playoffs. during the off-season i continue to sell bobble boxes for the same price to fund next seasons home games.

using this method i haven't paid a dime for home games for the last three seasons.

having said that i still have a cabinet full of bobble heads. $15 plus $8 shipping to so-cal takes one

Hmm, since we can't pick them up at the game why not just send them to us on the Kings dime? I'm sure they have a great FedEx deal so it wont cost much.

I think they should do this as well. Why should I be inconvenienced? As fans, we shell out enough every season. It would be a good faith gesture on the Kings part.

Asked for a kopitar lunch bag and got a bailey. Kinda upset

All the proceeds from baileys buddies and calendars for the next 2 weeks go to the hurricane relief efforts and if they donate packages it goes to the military ( calendar ) or children’s hospital of la ( baileys buddies)

also for people asking how to get their baileys buddies if they chose to pick up at a game

they are available at team la store during normal business hours

if they were one of the first 100 to buy them and they got a replica banner they will be mailed out to them or can be picked up at a game after the home opener

wait you do couponing, too? dude, we have soooo much in common with each other.

actually, in point of fact, I get a lot of junk food coupons in the mail. when i get one i like, i go to my local post office after business hours and dig through the recycling bin where the post office box owners toss their advo. i get dozens of my favorite coupons this way, and save TONS of money on carl's jr in order to gain those TONS back in calories (2000 calories=1 ton of calories). with my bailey's buddies memberships pizza hut coupons, i got 'asked' not to bring these coupons to my local pizza hut anymore. had to drive an extra 3 miles in the other direction to the next closest pizza hut for my last 20 personal pan pizzas

but yeah, i do the whole coupon thing, the whole hoarding thing, and the whole going to every kings game on the super cheap thing while sneaking a plastic bottle full of clear fluid...

oh, and i'll trade any of the 'first 100' people a complete '11-12 bailey membership box for a banner (i'll ship to you first)

It would be cool if they posted, or emailed those who are amongst the first 100!
