Add Fraser to the list of horrible centers last night. If anyone should be benched in favor of Richardson, it's #24.

I really think Kopitar is laboring with that bum knee; I saw his first foray out onto the ice at the practice barn. He looked pretty uncomfortable to me and I can't believe he came back as soon as he did. He was slow last night, but I'm not sure laziness was the issue.
Quit crying sissies...
The shortened season is still young. Wait until Mitchell comes back and then start crying in your beer.
YES... A defensive D-Man is that important to the team.
Like Daxx said. The only thing I am thinking here is we aren't giving the dux much credit for an absolutely dominating performance last night. I thought they were great. Their size/speed combo upfront against a Kigs defense missing key members was what did the job.
The Kings need to survive for a while and stay in the hunt until they get their legs.
Did you just say the Ducks dominated? That's laughable. They were opportunistic, if anything. The Kings defense and goaltending let them down, but they held the territorial advantage and the scoring chance advantage. In no way, shape, or form did the Ducks "dominate" anything out there.
Looked to me like the dux dominated down low a against the escort service that was the Kings def and horrible goaltending ...
You bench players to send a message.
I'm sure Richards already knows he's playing like ****. There are other players who need the message sent to them to play more.
He's a competitor. Simple as that. Benching him is an emotional reaction to a frustrating period in this season.
