Lame how some of you, in less than 2 pages can turn a Bench Richards thread into "blow up the team" or even insinuating some of us want to trade him and crap. Reading Comprehension and hyperbole gett'n all "blended together" and stuff? Is that it?

Based on all the evidence this game was not the game to base any decisive impressions of any player on.
We'll see what sutter comes up with but benching a center is something he can afford to do with this group considering their depth.

As I said already...Kopitar is playing with a partially torn MCL in a leg-brace, and has STILL contributed more offensively AND defensively than Richards. And again, this thread isn't about Kopitar OR just one game.

So tonight has been Richard's only sub-par game? AGAIN, I don't think this thread is about "tonight". It's about seven games of "unsatisfactory".

Huh? Richards was creating turnovers several times, had a few good chances and smart passing on PP. I dont see why are you blaming him. Kopitar was worse. Carter was not that great. Our defence and goalies sucked

He wasn't that bad tonight...
Now about the other 6 games and the -5... and the 5.75 million per year contract. He needs to be better.

Disgusted to but you gotto think they will be ready to show up Vs Columbus. That is 2 points they should and will get right there. If we lose to Columbus....
