no s***. the only controversy was to have him shave for his post=game interview. he pulled through and won a big game after a huge emotional let down, so why not throw him a bone and let him have a pad my stats game. it'd be puddin' if Sutter gave him Sunday's game too. no better showcase than on Hockey Day on National TV!

i don't know... Emery looked pretty sharp in getting the #1 star tonight.

and it wasn't because Niemi looked like he was on a slip-n-slide all night.

I didn't really see it tonight. He had no pressure at all. It was as if Columbus was a jr team. Then they finally play the last 5 minutes of the game and he gives one up... we're lucky they didn't tie it up. Bernier was fine but he really showed us nothing of import tonight.

Berniers save percentage was over .923 in the last two games....good enough for me.

I think if Bernier would have had a shut-out, he definitely would start Sunday. Now, I'm not so sure.

Great job by Bernier. This is exactly why you hang onto your young stud goalie that is on a good contract for as long as you can.

Dean must be very pleased watching Bernier's stock rise. Teams like Toronto, Washington, Calgary, etc. must be taking a real good look.

I am very serious. I think Sutter has a huge decision to make.

I am not so sure about that. Bob and Jim were saying last night that Sutter said he is going to ride the hot goalie like in the playoffs. My guess is Bernier will be playing until he doesn't play well. I am fine with this as I just want those the Kings string some wins together and gain some points.

Sorry, but what the hell did a shutout have to do w/ it?

The fact that he "only" made 12/13 saves vs 13/13 saves makes it a HUGE decision? He's faced 35 shots it two games. Quick has faced that many shots in ONE game. Perspective. I'm not defending Quick's play. But the Jackets are awful so take his performance last night w/ a grain of salt. He was tested MAYBE once or twice if you're being generous.

Personally, I go w/ Quick tomorrow.

mind you I was one of the few advocating Bernier start last night, BUT

NO WAY IN HELL BERNIER STARTS VS HAWKS. He has had two good games but low shot totals and very few good shot on him. Hawks will not be nearly as easy and I am sure Quick "got the message"

Quick will be playing with a fire in belly and a chip on his shoulder. If they dont start Quick I would have to question Sutters decision making process
