    Good read. Thanks for posting! Until DL came on board, it seems like the Kings were always on the losing end of trades like this (think Goring, 1980). It's nice that the tables have turned.

    DL is a master of trades. And a master of drafting.

    No one gets things right 100% of the time ... but he's been on the "winning" end more often than not. And I like that he stays away from UFA's for the most part. We're one of only a few teams that did not use any of the compliance buy-outs... AND we've kept the same core intact for 3+years now. that says a lot.

    Buffalo's ability to trade Vanek for Moulson + picks (great picks), then turn around and trade Moulson for picks, and then turn around and sign moulson in the off season probably ranks at the top of the list for trades all time. That was some serious hustle.

    True, but I think most GMs decline to trade with Snow out of mercy. It's like playing football against a team of retards with no thumbs.
