Default Broadcast of Kings home opener on East Coast.

Does anyone know if there is one? I have Center Ice and it is not listed. On NBC they are showing the Pens. Am I really not going to get to see the home opener when they raise the banner? Help.

Isn't that the whole point of Center Ice? To get EVERY game?

On the East Coast you won't see the game, but NBC will air the banner raising in it's entirety before switching over to the Pens-Flyers game.

Which is why I didn't renew CI with DTV this late in the season. NBC,FSW,NBCSN and Kings games won't be broadcast by CI if NBC covers them.

That's what I was afraid of! Utter ****ing bull****. So Center Ice boasts "the best way to watch out-of-market games", but no out-of-market fans can watch the home-opener of the Stanley Cup Champ??? Brilliant!

This sucks! We won't even be able to hear Bob and Jim call the banner raising game. So lame.

NBC sports live extra might have the game.

Unfortunately you are at the mercy of NBC who chooses which game(s) will be broadcasted nationally based on region you live in (east coast teams in your case). You can see the Kings game if:
Your provider (cable,sat..etc) offer east AND west coast national feeds although they might still blackout the west one during the game.
Find a local sports bar that still uses a large C Band dish (I believe they can pick up some west coast feeds in the clear) and ask the owner/manager for the Kings game.
On line via computer or other devices. Hope this helps and somehow you get to see the game.

    Good luck,
    GO KINGS !!
