In Brust we trust!
I know this isn't really a Kings related topic per se, but since there isn't any hockey I figured I would throw this here. It seems former LA Kings superstar Barry Brust has set the all time record for the longest shut out streak at 268:17. ESPN has a lengthy write up on it and what has been going on with the guys career. If nothing else this really makes the lockout hit home, here we sit at the end of November, and the top story in the hockey world is Barry Brust.

My money was on Ersberg back then. This shows how little AHL coaches know. Obviously they should have not let him play again after he got his 3rd shutout.
Back to that : Yes we won the cup and I should shut up, but I wonder how our 'regular' season would have faired without pulling Quick? I feel like we would have definitely been top dog going into the playoffs and we wouldn't have shocked everyone quite so much. I think what we did was way cooler though.. (being 8th and all).
