Bylsma on benching Brown: "We went with players who could score"

well that's a pretty poorly put together article. 3 twitter references and no context. Hooray journalism.
Not saying that Brown wasn't benched, nor that he didn't deserve limited ice time but this article doesn't address much of anything.

OR: he was hitting Crosby every time he stepped on the ice and we couldn't have that.....

Let's assume this is true. Now it begs the question....
How'd that work out for ya?

Browine was one of the top scorers on the team, and was really clicking with his linemates the game before.. Bylsma done ****ed up, plain and simple.

not saying brown was great during the Olympics, but he did get a few G's and A's during the tourney. ^ this sounds a little more believable.

Considering Brown was one of only 4 players on the team with 2 or more goals, sounds like he's using the wrong reason. Kane was 2nd in ice time among forwards and didn't score any goals...

The entire team was playing poorly, except for Quick. If Brown has any game left, I hope he can shock the world and play like he is an NHL player for the rest of the season. Nothing indicates to me that he will regain his game but hopefully he is not content with his guaranteed contract and plays like he is a UFA.

it is what it is. Bylsma is being PC. Brown was a liability.

I think the team had no spirit to play for the Bronze and it started from the top down.
