There was nothing on his website...only the Twitter. I'd think (I could be wrong) with a waiver list like that it would be on his front webpage. ????

Sorry if it has been posted. Where would I find out if they cleared waivers/ It has been over 24 hours since this thread was started. Thanks for the help.
Wont know till noon eastern tomorrow,
LAK: S. Legein, D. Meckler, M-A. Cliche, T. Hickey
Were placed on waivers today
If Hickey doesn't clear waivers and he gets picked there will be a lot of complaining going on about wasting a 4th pick on him. I haven't read enough to know for certain if there is some kind of a technicality or off the record agreement among the GMs preventing the Kings from losing this prospect for nothing. If not the case and he's gone; so be it.
Lombardi took a calculated approach when building this team from the net out. After Bernier in 06, he picked Hickey at 4th in 07 and netted Martinez in the 4th round (95th pick). This was the first year that Lombardi had his scouts in making the picks. Next draft he blew out Camalleri and turned him into another potential starting defenseman in Tebeurt while taking a chance on a Russian in the 2nd round that didn't like losing. That same year Doughty made Lubo expandable and although not by design, Hickey as well. I like the way this turned out. It wasn't perfect but 5 years later DL's the defending SC GM. If Hickey's gone; so be it. It's a numbers game.
There's already plenty of complaining it was a wasted pick. At this point I don't give a crap because they won the Cup...but it WAS a wasted pick - whether it was for a good reason or not.

Hickey was overwhelmingly ordinary in all the camps he attended, and, with Teubert, got lambasted by all of Canada for their performance in the World Juniors several years ago. They were ostensibly the #1 pairing on that team, and they stunk up the joint.
Good riddance.
