So DL chose Muzzin over Hickey. Would have to assume someone will pick up Hickey. Nice how the Stanley Cup afterglow takes the sting off of wasting a fourth overall pick.

If Hickey clears...fine...but I hope he actually gets picked up by Calgary if he doesn't...

I haven't read the new CBA, but this could be a strategic move aimed at being able to recall thede players throughout the season. Recall waivers has been eliminated.

You dislike Hickey that much to banish the poor guy to Calgary. You're mean! heh

I agree...it's probably a strategic move...some of the players might be taken but chances are not all of them....

something... i mean they ARE in the middle of a season in the AHL.

He still has NHL potential. I wouldn't be surprised to see the Islanders claim him, as they need defense.
