Default Deflection just before Martinez's goal

I was watching the replay of the cup winning goal (again) and noticed something I never had before, and I don't know that I've heard anyone mention it.

The reason Toffoli's shot created a great rebound with a wide open net for Martinez is that there was a pretty significant deflection off of Moore - otherwise Lundqvist probably gets it clean.

You can see it clearly at 2:01 of this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H-KnXdCL0Ew

Is this something I just missed originally that people did talk about at the time?

    Never noticed that.
I still think T Lewis' borderline interference/ picks were key for that outnumbered attack.

I actually noticed that and I was shocked that the commentators didn't say that is was only because of a lucky deflection that the Kings scored.

I also noticed it right away. It looked like it deflected left and down so it skipped just in front of his pad rather than hitting him in the chest. But I was too excited to care how they scored, just as long as they scored.

I don't think it was specifically brought up at the time no, good clarification for those that thought hank suddenly forgot how to tend goal.

I noticed it, but since the end result was completely perfect, I decided I didn't care.

Also, I don't remember Rags fans complaining about us being lucky, so there's that.

Everybody knows that the only reason the Kings have won 2 championships in the last 3 years is due to luck and the referees being Kings fans...HUGE Kings fans.
