Thread: Did anyone catch the season preview on OLN/Vs./NBCSports/whatever they call it?

Jones called a Kings / Penguins Final, and Milbury called a Kings / Rangers Final...

BOTH emphatically picked the Kings to repeat. but that wasn't the most interesting aspect. what was most interesting was their explanation as to why... and where almost every other TV pundit have chosen from the usual suspects - again (i even think Mike Johnson perdincticated that San Jose will win the President's Trophy and that Todd McLellan would with the Adams), these two based their opinion on what the Kings actually did to their competition in the post-season... like they were the only ones among the experts who actually watched the playoffs.

btw, it also sounded like Eddie Olczyk was leaning Kings as well.

I saw that too. They agreed that a big factor may be the long layoff that allowed Quick to (hopefully) heal, etc. There might be something to that. I watched that practice thing on FSW the other night and it was startling to see the Kings without black eyes, fat lips, etc. -- and they all looked ten years younger without the Sons of Anarchy beards too.
