Then the players start getting into their positions. Be extremely organized with what you want signed and what pix you want, and you can get it all done in the allotted time. I ended up giving away one of my front of the line passes for the last two years. Well worth the money and less stress. I think they only sell 250-300 tickets to this
For the VIP pass, don't you get 3 hours with the players compared to the general admission which gets you 2 hours with the players? BTW, I think that a lot of Kings fans want to meet the Kings players for at least 3-4 hours. Who would be the best person to talk to about it?

The extra hours you are talking about includes the hours with the gen public (their words) after the VIP hours. I'm not sure what you mean when you say you want to talk to someone about it? Buy the ticket once, experience it yourself and make the decision. We go every year as we feel it's worth it

For Tip A King, the general public gets 2 hours with the players. For the VIP, do they get 3 hours with the players or what happens in the 1st hour?

I've been to Tip A King twice and what I mean by I want to talk to someone about it is that who's the person that I voice my opinion to maybe getting Tip A King extended for an extra hour or 2?

Back when we sucked, I paid $10 for a bunch of pictures with Frolov's amazing sweater and funny faces. It was a standard $1 for an autograph and $2 for a picture with no problems seeing at least 2/3 of the team. Hockeyfest looks too crowded and unbearable for me to attempt going. MAYBE MTP won't be so bad this year?
I wouldn't count on it. It gets worse every year.

as a VIP, you would get 1 extra hour in the beginning, early access is what it's called. then you join all the other general public schmos for the next 2 hours, although (i guess you also get fast passes?) giving you a total of 3 hours as opposed to the only 2 hours that everyone else who pays general admission gets. i strongly doubt you can talk them into doing this an extra hour or 2. pretty sure, and i personally don't take offense to this, but i'm sure others might, that the players don't want to be there longer than they have to nor is it in their contracts to spend 4-5 hours in one day signing autographs and taking pictures on top of the other appearances they have to make throughout the year/season. i mean, *i* wouldn't want to do that either.

if you re-read the post he quoted, he's referring to meet the players. it's just more crowded every year (especially after a cup win, much less 2 in 3 years) and not very well organized.

So if you buy a VIP pass, you get to meet the players for an extra hour before the general admission? What else do you get for the VIP passes other than the fast passes? And also, how long in advance will we know when the Tip a King event date is officially announced?

You get a very nice dinner and drinks, beer & wine. They only sell about 250 of these tickets, so the hour you do have with the players is worth it as there are no lines. I've seen maybe 10 deep when it starts. Usually $5.00 for a picture and two autographs, so you can get back in line again without too much trouble if you want extra autographs. You can use the front of the line passes when the gen public comes in.
