If that's the case then I will have to look at the replicas again. The reason I stopped getting replicas and switched to authentics is because the shoulder patches, etc. looked like iron-ons as opposed to real stitched patches and that bugged me.
I'm in the market for a new one that I'll have customized to have the name Stanley on the back with the number 12. Yeah, yeah, I know some people will think it's lame. F 'em. I'll celebrate the way I want to.
I pretty much look down at everybody.![]()
IMO I see no reason to buy an "authentic" or "Pro" unless it is game worn. Hence I only have one all the rest I own are replica.
The newest one is the plate style The Kings gave us, I traded in for a Brown 23 and it has the screen print style sew on #'s and I actually like it better because those numbers are more durable and don't fray.
Not only do I look down on you, I fart in your general direction.
For me, 'cause I'm little, the authentics look like I'm wearing a tent. Therefore, I wear the replicas. In fact, I actually have the chick-sized one, and I like a lot more than I thought I would. If someone doesn't like it, who cares? I make that #15 look good!
Being a girl I can't wear the authentic even if I wanted to because they are so big! Lol
I don't see what's the big deal of a replica as long as it is not a really cheap looking knock off. Us fans, don't have a real reason to wear them.
I only would look down on a replica if Doughty was spelled Doty...
Ahhh who am I kidding, that would be awesome.
Sports k did a fantastic job on my rep stitching. I can post photos later.
