Recap for those who haven't read the entire thread:
1.) You'll get looked down on no matter what, so don't spend extra for authentic unless you're going to play hockey in it.
2.) You'll piss off the most people possible by wearing a miscolored knock off wrong-era retro jersey fail.
3.) Be prepared to show your receipts.
It's all a matter of degree, man. The replicants are going to look down on the knock-offs. The authentics and the retros are going to look down on the replicants and the knock-offs and are going to look askance at one another. The non-jersey wearing citizens are going to look down on the jersey clad citizens. And if you produce a receipt, you're just screwed man. I'm not going to get into named jerseys at this juncture.
I don't look down on anybody for the jersey they are wearing but I laugh at the people who bought the cheap knock-offs that are blue instead of purple
If I may add, no other team jerseys UNLESS it has a current Kings player or that team is playing in the arena you are watching the game at. Why wear a Maple Leafs jersey when the Kings are playing the Kings are playing the Panthers ?
You can also show civic pride so yeah, you can rock a Clippers, Dodgers, Lakers, etc garb.
Paying extra for an authentic jersey to play hockey in is dumb. Cost way too much money to get something that you don't need to play in. cheap jersey will last just as long as the authentic for most people.
I like the Kings. I also like being able to pay my mortgage. Replicas assemble!
There probably just not aware of where the apostrophe key is on they're keyboard (hint - it's over their by the colon key)
But jeez, now I not only have too bee paranoid about my proper use of words, butt I also halve two be paranoid about what I where too a King's game (witch is still my #3 Johnson replica non-Chinese jersey). My son (a starving college student) where's his Chinese Doughty jersey, witch is a really good knock off and looks like the real thing, as opposed too his Chinese Brown jersey, witch uses a lettering style that is so blatantly wrong it's never been worn and will soon bee tossed in the Good Will pile!
