I understand that contracts have an impact on this but u cant tell me that bob and jims contracts are that different from any other crews across the league. We all know bob and jim would jump at the chance to do a nationally broadcasted game. We all could hear in bobs voice how much he was disappointed to not be able to do last years playoffs past the 1st round! Yet we had heyward for a few of them?!?! WTF?!?!?!?!

Randy and Drew already work for csn/nbc. Bob and Jim don't.

Anyway, I agree with AllenA07...I wish the Stars announcers (Ralph Strangis and Daryl Reaugh) could call every nationally broadcasted game the Kings are in. IMO they are up there with Bob and Jim, they are great to listen to.

I don't know, making the Stanley Cup Finals again, or the thought of having to endure Pierre McGuire?

These guys are always good and it was nice having them instead of a few guys talking about Zetterberg and Datsyuk ALLLL game. Everyone knows theyre good and I agree, but don't beat it into our heads like we haven't heard it 100 times. I always choose the Sharks broadcast when I watch a SJ game on Center Ice.

Roenick needs to go, and I realize he never will His ability to work himself and his former player status into every subject is almost as good as his ability to grab the spotlight for everything other than playing hockey in his last few seasons. Overall, NBC's announcers are terrible actually.
