Agreed. Great goal...the kid is clutch no doubt.

My point is this... if your antics are like what Yakupov pulled, then do not be surprised when a loud mouthed Canadian commentator rips you for it. Warranted or not, you are asking for attention. I think you are begging for attention.
His actions are deserving of the attention he is getting. It will also be deserving if a fellow competitor throws an extra elbow along the boards.
Should fans be up in arms, eh. Not really. But he deserves the flack he is getting. Cus thats what commentators, and all the couch general managers from the inter webz, do.

I don't even know what that means. But, I like it, a lot!

i thought it was pretty adorable. he's young and stupid but i love seeing that kind of enthusiasm. plus, i find it really difficult to get butthurt about something the oilers did given that they really suck and don't get much in the way of exciting games. maybe i'd feel differently if one of the canucks did it. and if the kings had a problem with it, well then they can be sure to send a message next time.

It was an effort to explain where your head should be on a form tackle. Head up, face in his chest.

You don't show people up, period. You will take an extra glove to the face or a stick in the nuts. That is the way it's always been. It's not like they won a series or the cup on that goal. WTF would he do for an encore if Edmonton stopped sucking so bad and actually went somewhere except to the draft lottery? He shot his load, he is done. Chump!
