If we're gonna start calling out kings D players lets make this about Voynov. Dude has been in full BEASTMODE all season long and doesn't even make a mil while doughnuts demands 7. I've been a believer since early last season...

...because he is the Kings' best overall defenseman. The other defenseman are having a more superior season to Drew to this point but they also aren't the 'go to guy' on defense, they aren't always put on the ice in the most crucial points of the game like Doughty always is, and like you said, they don't log 30 minutes of ice time a game. You put as much weight and ice time on any of the other defenseman on the Kings, they wouldn't be performing like they are. He takes a lot of attention off other players when he's on the ice, just watch how many times a game the opponent tries to run him; it just goes with his territory and he knows it.
All of that being said, he does need to step up his game; no doubt.
