Vlasic is getting Dzone starts, against tough opponents, and he's almost neutral corsi. that tells me he's been a monster.
DMurray is getting protected minutes, and has a crap corsi. Not so good so far this year.

Yesterdays game against Detroit, he was on the ice for only 25 minutes and he was still a -2.
He was on the ice for Detroit's winning goal, and he arguably could have cleared that puck instead of serving it up to the point...

I realize that those that really understand hockey will dismiss the significance of this statistic..
but to me it means that when Doughty is on the ice, it is more likely that the other team will score than us..





So why is Doughty playing 30 minutes a game average?
