Thread: Doughty leads the league in +/-

As of today, Drew leads the league in +/- with a -10..
I like Doughty but he doesn't belong on the ice for 30 minutes a game..
Yesterdays game against Detroit, he was on the ice for only 25 minutes and he was still a -2.
He was on the ice for Detroit's winning goal, and he arguably could have cleared that puck instead of serving it up to the point...

I realize that those that really understand hockey will dismiss the significance of this statistic..
but to me it means that when Doughty is on the ice, it is more likely that the other team will score than us..

Voynov= +4
Martinez= 0

Muzzin= +3
Drewiske= +2


So why is Doughty playing 30 minutes a game average?

Guess we should bench Doughty and start muzzin huh?.......

You are bound to be a -10 when you have to play half the game behind an offense that can't score a goal if there families' lives depended on it.

He's playing the most minutes. He's typically playing against top opposing lines. Kings are struggling to score.
