You have the choice to:
Bet 10 on the Kings, and get paid 30 if they win. You lose the 10 if they lose the game.
Or
Bet 10 on the Ducks, and get paid 20 if they win. You lose the 10 if they lose the game.
You can only place one bet.
ETA: 10 is just an example. You can bet however much karma you have.

Kings win this however ugly or at a cost, they'll likely take that confidence and smoke DET and be back in business. Should this happen, I could almost taste the fear in opposing teams when they find out this is what happened.
Then I will have hope 4 a repeat.
