Thread: Dustin Brown has ONE even strength point in 14 games

Amazing statistic. Its obviously been a rough start for the playoff hero of heroes. But my god, a lone even strength assist over the course of 14 games for a first line, 19 minutes a night winger is an astonishing amount of futility.

His minus 7 is second only to Doughty's minus 9. Given that Doughty has played something like 120 more minutes than Brown thus far might make that stat more alarming.

What is it? Should have had off-season surgery? Gutting it out and playing thru pain? Hell, he should almost accidentally have a couple points on odd bounces by now.

C'mon Cap, get it together.

Its just the mid season slump. He will be OK starting in March.

Yeah, well DB and Doughty used to room together on the road, up until this season. Now they both suck. Anyone see any connections there?

Let's talk about the center on that line. Hard to get anything going when your linemate, highest paid forward and "best player" on the team is playing like he is carrying the piano Gretzky once carried on his back.

Talk to us when Kopitar starts playing like he should and Brown still under performs.

Been saying since he was drafted , he will never accomplish anything !!!

Kopitar has underperformed, but:

a) He's still playing better than Brown on both ends of the ice
b) He DID have an injury
c) Even though he's playing like he has a piano on his back, he's still tied for the team lead in scoring.

So... I think your attempt to deflect is a little misplaced.

Brown has 1pt in 14gms?

Brown finally started to pound some people in last night's game. I hope he keeps that going.
