I don't know, they look like an offensive juggernaut. We know they're solid in goal, so if the defense can hold up, that might be a very good team this year.
And yet on TSN the Kings are ranked 10 because of Kopitar hurting his knee. Crazy Canadians.
The Kings steamrolled each opponent on the way to the Stanley Cup and the Canadians still don't believe. I was pissed when I read the rankings on TSN yesterday. This makes me feel better but, then again, it's ESPN.

They were terrible in the second half of the season last year, last in points after Jan 1. I don't think Suter and Parise should put them in the top 10. Perhaps a bubble playoff team.

Any team that wins outside of Canada either cheats, got lucky, or because it's rigged.
I find some of the differences between Burnside's "week 1" (i.e., preseason) rankings from last September and his new "week 3" rankings inexplicable. It's not like a whole helluva lot has happened between then and now to justify some of the radical changes.
