ESPN's Uniform Rankings
Since there doesn't seem to be much to discuss along the ways of an "upcoming season" thanks to the owners' and Gary Bettman's suicide-pact grudge match against the Fehr brothers, I thought I'd interject my favorite non-ice topic:
The currently dreaded and much maligned "Los Angeles LA's" uniform!
Uni Watch Power Rankings rates NFL, MLB, NBA and NHL uniforms from 1-122 - ESPN
Ranked by ESPN to be 112 out of 122 teams.
Generous? About right?
T-minus two years, these duds are gone (assuming labor strife doesn't extend these two years).

completely agree the "home plate" logo sucks
our late 80s early 90s "chevy" logo would be top 20

I don't like home plate logo in its present form, but it has been part of the team's history forever. The Chevron logo was just an evolution of the home plate...

The colors are cool but if we changed the logo, we'd probably go up 50-70 places.

I quit reading the article when they said purple isn't a good color for uni's. Non-sense.
I agree the present logo is probably here to stay given what just happened. I still don't like it nor did I care for the "chevron" either. I'll take the CROWN any day...

I still like the Palffy era uni's but maybe they should go back to the original colors and logo and just modernize it some.

I love the vintage 67-68's. I'm partial to the original crown and Forum purple and gold.
The modern crown (purple and silver version) is hands down one of the best logos in sports.
