Everythime I buy a player jersey, the guy gets traded within 3 months!

Grew up in Los Angeles, moved to San Jose in 1992-93 for JrHigh/HighSchool, returned to LA for college/med school 97-06, then moved to St Louis for military duty. Dabbled in Japan for 3 years, then returned to St Louis in the Summer

That's because there is a conspiracy going on.

I was in San Simeon ,ca visiting the Hearst Castle with some friends, I walked into this realllly nice restaurant by the pier while in my LA KINGS jersey ( 2009) and a big buff dude behind the counter told me( with a smug look on his face) " this is the Sharks country boy " and i was like yes sir, I hope he did not spit in my Clam Chowder, but it ended well.

Did you just happen to buy a Jennifer Pope jersey?

I bought a blank Penguins jersey for the express purpose of making it into a Robitaille jersey. The day before I was going to drop it off, they traded him.

This is why I don't buy jerseys with active player names on them. I still laugh when I see people wearing Cehmanek jerseys and things like that.

It sucks yes but honestly who cares if you are stuck with a name on the jersey who isn't on the team anymore. Kings fans know they were so you won't get crap. Plus like others said, it is about the name on the front, so as long as you have their name on a Kings jersey it is all good!
