You neglected to mention my favorite Canuck memory of all time (as well as one of my favorites against any team).

It was a (I think) a 12 - 2 demolition of them at the Forum. Donny Kozak scored a hat trick with just a handful of seconds left in the 3rd. There were so many hats on the ice that the players just gathered for the face off with all the hats still there, the ref dropped the puck, and everyone stood still while the clock ticked down the last few seconds and the horn sounded.

It was absolutely sublime.

I remember that game. It was the last game of the season, April 6, 1974. Kings won 11-1. Vancouver goalie was Ed Dyck.

I still remember Bob's call after about the 10th or 11th goal. "Poor Ed Dyck!"

You my friend have been a Kings fan for a long time. How long others may ask? Kozak got that hat trick in a 11-1 win that was the final regular season game of the 1973/74 season!!! That game was played on April 6, 1974.

Thanks so much Rawley. I always enjoy these trips down memory lane and especially the photos. Agree with the one about Marty McSorley never getting the recognition he deserved. Human nature is for people to pick out the negatives rather than the positives.
