Found it. Game 3 Dogs series, last 2 min of game. Held for 18 seconds then passed. Had one shot on goal, fell down, keeping control, kings get a full line change. Just wow!! If one of our players plays like this Its totally unfair we have 5 guys against their 5.

Maybe he was trying to get his team going, being a healthy scratch quite a bit through the first couple rounds. But his antics were lame. Everyone booing will just prove that he got the best out of the Staples crowd. The Blues lost, the Kings ended up winning the cup. That right there will always be with him, and make him feel crappy. Everyone "ssshhh'ing" him will make him feel relevant, and like he left his mark.
If you think I care how he'd feel or react to it, I should make it more clear that I'd find it fun/ny and has nothing to do with some kind of vindication. The guy makes millions of dollars for playing a game; id have to assume that he doesn't give a poop if he's caught between an autonomous crowd and their fun, silly antics. Nor would I care if his lil piggly wiggly c*** of an ego got half wood for feeling like he's "relevant". He probably wouldn't even remember why, or maybe he'd have an inner chuckle. Who cares?

Like you said, we won the cup! I have no beef with anyone from the blues (since the Courtnall daemon of 98 has been purged!), it's also the audiophile in me that wants to hear an orchestra of "shhhh's".

I think I killed my own gag after my second post, lol. I was aiming to add some silly to this thread--looks like i missed the mark. Over and out!

I really liked Hayward's little quip "The Blues are making a statement, here."

Yeah, they were saying, "it doesn't matter WHAT we do. We know you're going to sweep us with an absolutely dominating performance."

I remember sitting there just in awe. Seeing the full line change as he puts on a demonstration on puck posession. Soon after I text my bro with "Jack who?"

No doubt. I remember Gretzky doing something like this on a penalty kill once (entering the opponent's zone and then circling and retreating with the puck all the way back to the Kings zone). And here this was a ROOKIE doing this in the conference finals! There were several times in the playoffs where Voynov looked nervous when he was pressed in his own zone, and having those two bank shots go in off his torso in the SCF must have sucked, but this sort of masterful display was just so great.

I remember Hitchcock in the post game press conferences looking like a deer in the headlights. He seemed truly amazed at how the Blues weren't able to do much of what they thought they could do.
He was surprised at how dominated his team was, and he showed the Kings much respect with his comments. What else was there to say?

Then there was Dave Tippett in the next series, with his never ending post game whining, never giving the Kings ANY credit for playing well, and the "games are getting a bit dishonest..." It's like he was a Canucks' fan.
