Completely dominating in their end for long periods of time.
at the draft party a couple of years ago, and under a considerable haze, i heard Birdman yell out the following (about 4 or 5 times, i think) - "don't marry yourselves to players!" he went on to reiterate that idea more than once on the boards, and i believe it to be absolutely sage.

The slash-fest between Richards and Lagenbrunner before they both dropped them, and then Richie taking it to him during the tilt.
Can't find them on YT, but remember during Hitchcock's press conferences that he had praised the Kings and said something to the effect that his team doesn't have an answer for them.
