Thread: FSNW Picture (non-HD) is horrible!

"Because it's in SD " that is no excuse , I am being charged for a product and it is unwatchable
This picture is terrible and they are supposed to be professionals

Interesting. So TW and DISH have problems but Verizon Fios doesn't. Looking at their site Verizon seems to only offer digital stations so maybe you get the HD feed that verizon handles themselves?

On Time Warner Cable one of our tv's is HD (channel 463) and the pic is great. The other 3 tvs are older and we watch through channel 30...that picture is blurry and almost unwatchable. Well, the next channel over is Fox Sports Prime Ticket... the Ducks usually play on that station. It's pretty clear and fully watchable so it's just FSW that is horrible.

FSN picture sucked again last night, always have to watch the recap on lakings.com.

uuuuhhhhh, I dunno.
The SD feed in all their channels is 10 times better than DirecTV and Uverse. I had DirecTV, and parents currently have Uverse. Dont know how or why, but all I know is that Verizon has pretty damn good standard definition. Of course, the HD channels blow away the SD channels. But their SD is very good.

Yep. We couldn't afford to upgrade all 5 or 6 tvs in the house to HD and quite often the HD tvs are in use for other programs or I have work to do in the office at the same time. At those times it's watched on the square boxes in good old standard def.
