What were the old programs in the 80's called? I can't remember, but they were magazine sized. Used to get them every game at the Forum.
Here it is....... GOAL

1993 94 Los Angeles Kings Media Press Guide Yearbook NHL Mint Wayne Gretzky | eBay
see link ^^^^ for media guide. They're around 5" x 8" w/ 250 pages. All Kings info for current season, with historical hockey factoids re every other team in NHL and Kings history vs them. They used to sell them at the fan shops at Forum / Staples, but they quit printing them 2 - 3 years ago
Several years ago I filled in most of my collection with older MGs before my time. GREAT reading for Kings fans.
One of the MGs from the 70s went on ebay for much more than others ($50?) because the cover picture of Marcel Dionne (?) had him playing against Bobby Orr.
I saw a couple of games in Calgary last season and they have a crappy tri fold brochure. So it's not just the kings.
I love collecting programs, at least for special events. On opening day I checked all entrances, a few merch stands and the Team LA store and was shocked they didn't have one for the team's first EVER banner raising! I assume due to the lockout, they weren't able to print them up in time for the start of the season.
I went to a game in Detroit this season and I wanted one but they didn't sell them they did have a season magazine it was alot closer to the media guides but just high lights no mention of deader and the kings come back win

I've seen them at the VIP entrances this season.
