Default Games this Coming Season You are Most Looking Forward To

Which game(s) are you most excited about on the schedule for this coming season? (other than opening night which is obviously the #1 pick for everyone here)

For me, we have 2 day games in February with 11:30am starts - one against Boston and one against Pittsburgh that I'm looking forward to. Day games are rare and we are lucky to only get 1 or 2 a year at home. I have young boys and these are the only games they can attend - they wouldn't make it through a night game. So day games to me mean family.

Also, the ironic thing too is we only play you guys once in Chicago this season and it's Monday March 30th - so almost a year from now. The funny thing is I will actually be in LA at that time and will not be able to attend. Taking my family to Disneyland at that time. Wish the game was in LA cause I would like to attend a game at Staples.

Interesting. There's several teams we play that bore me - namely Edmonton, Nashville, Columbus, and Minnesota. Yawn! I watch cause I want the 2 points but these are not games on the schedule I get excited about.

I hear ya, Kerf! There are a handful of teams that do the same for me but I'll watch anyways and wish I had a game myself for those nights....but these teams sort of change on a yearly basis considering on how they're doing and the meaning of the 2 points/playoff type of atmosphere it can generate even during the dog days....usually within the Kings conference as well NOT division.

I have always had extra special enjoyment with the games around the holidays, I love the Thanksgiving weekend games, games right before XMAS, and New Years. as far as regular season goes those are some of my favorites. Beyond that I always look forward to March/April hockey because that is when it is at it's best prior to the playoffs. Any of those are usually great games.

True - holiday games are fun. I wish we had Thanksgiving home games but every year at that time we are on the road because Ringling Brothers Circus hits Chicago and takes up the United Center for 2 weeks. It would be fun to go to games while my wife is out shopping on Black Friday. But oh well. Games around xmas I get to enjoy though - kids off school and relaxing time of year.

Speaking of the Thanksgiving weekend, that's when the Blackhawks and Kings meet for the first time, Nov. 29th at Staples. Those three games are the ones I'm most looking forward to, after that playoff series last year.
