Ben Scrivens on playing in San Jose: "It was a fun game. It’s my first time in San Jose. It’s a loud rink, good fan support. That’s great for the league, we love to see that."

Darryl Sutter on whether there is pride in the team recording points in 11 consecutive game, keeping in mind that the team wants to look ahead, not behind: “We don’t get ahead of courselves and we don’t look back. Same question, same answer, right? [Reporter: Well, you keep getting points, that’s the same question. The streak keeps going.] I’d be concerned that we haven’t gained any ground on it. It tells you how good everybody is. Same answer, right. It tells you how good everybody is. Look at everybody that’s in that position.”

Dwight King on San Jose: "I think we play a very similar style. Obviously they’re a big, fast team too and they like to transition, forecheck, possession game and that’s pretty much our M.O. Whoever is more on their game that night seems to have the edge."

Ben Scrivens on getting three of a possible four points on the road trip: “We like four. That’s our goal. Obviously we’ll take every point we can get but we aren’t satisfied by any means with three. We have a team that expects to win and we have a team that can win. So we have to find a way. Again, that starts with me making a few more [saves] in the shootout there.”

Darryl Sutter on what Mike Richards has done well against Joe Thornton: “Well, when we win, he does it well. I mean, they’re both the same players. Joe’s bigger. Go ask Mike. Joe’s a big guy to play against. Hard to play against. He’s not a physical guy, but he’s a puck protection guy. Mike’s not a physical guy, but he’s a puck protection guy. It’s the whole thing…what does he do well? He’s a good player. He does it well every night. Just because it’s against Joe Thornton doesn’t mean – same with Joe Thornton. I mean, they’re top players. It’s not easy playing against a top player all the time. It’s one thing to play against a guy who checks you, or something like that. When you play against a top player that does it the same way, what does he do well? I would think that whenever there’s close games, I would think every shift they’re on their game.”

Matt Frattin on a realistic timetable: "A couple days. I’m day-to-day right now, for sure. I feel pretty good on the ice, and something you want to get back is your lungs and your cardio. Taking a week off, not skating at all, that’s something that takes a couple days. [Reporter: It’s amazing how fast it’ll disappear.] Oh my God. When I was off skating for a five days, and I’ve been on the ice for three days now, definitely the muscles tighten up, not using them."

Matt Greene on conditioning during rehabilitation: "Yeah. You’ve got to get your lungs going. That supports everything else. That'll give you strength. So this is good out here. Just making sure that you’re working hard and getting your stamina back."

Time to get the fire hose and continue our point streak. I think we finally win by two or more goals. Cammalleri scores the first goal of the night, as all fomer Kings players do and then we start going rampant. 4-1 Kings. Kopitar, Richards, Carter and Carcillo. Go Kings Go!

If you had "Cammalleri will score a goal" - I would have voted that option.
Seems like that dang Cammi scores every game against us.
