That was completely Fowler's fault that he got himself injured. Stoll was right on him, hand on his jersey, and Fowler turns himself face first into the boards. He was just begging for an injury. I don't sympathize at all.

The refs didn't call any penalty on the play either. It was a clean hockey play by Stoll. There was no separation where Stoll could "see Fowler's numbers and stop."

how many times do we need to see martinez or voynov get beat to result in a goal, or play out of position, for us to really miss mitchell and greene?

Yup... and everyone thought this lockout would actually HELP us because we were bringing the entire team back.

Nope, it turned out to be the opposite... it just gave them more time to drink and participate in Vegas orgies with strippers and get out of shape, while every other player in the league were working out so they could win the Cup.

When Erksine elbowed Simmonds the other day, there was no penalty called on the play either but he got suspended for 3 games. Granted, that elbow was super dirty and he deserved the suspension. Regardless of a clean hockey play or not... since Fowler is injured, it will be reviewed regardless. Guess we'll have to wait and see.

The funny thing is that I don't even get upset anymore. Kind of sad, really....
