Okay I'm reposting this because my first message got ignored. Why is Simon Gagne not in the lineup? I mean, he was not that bad in the first game haha. But seriously, am I missing something obvious?

Maybe because Richardson has played well against Colorado in the past? Not really sure.

Edit: Richardson isn't in either.

Bossman Sutter probably trying to keep everyone in the mix that is going to play hard. Gagne didn't particularly overwhelm in that first game, He wasn't the only one of the top skill guys who didn't but the bottom end guys were playing at the level they were supposed to.

Kopitar back in the lineup means someone had to sit. During practice, Sutter rotated Gagne and Penner in the LW spot with Richards and Carter. He's likely leaning towards Penner though of course, lineups are not confirmed.

Ok I fully expect Kings to win tonight. They need to circle the wagons without Greene in the lineup and Johnny shaking off the rust from back surgery. Get a good cycle going and low rotation with some responsible back checking by forwards and a few big saves and they can get two points tonight.

The real question, to me, knowing that Sutter is a one goalie guy - if Quick struggles again will he start leaning towards Bernie? Bernier did play, and well, during the lock-out. If I am Sutter Quick is my goalie but one slip up and I try Bernier. This season is a sprint and he needs to go with the hot hand ... they already are down 4 points to the quacks and their offense looks lethal.

Okay good to know. I was really surprised and impressed with Penner in the first game, great movement. Him and Cliffy were the best players.
