Kings still should have won, though.
Watching the replay, it happens so incredibly fast it would be almost impossible to call this offsides in real time. The puck makes contact with his skate before he enters the offensive zone (the blueline is part of the neutral zone UNTIL he gains entry to the offensive zone, then it becomes part of the attacking zone). Datsyuk's skill essentially covers up the off-sides, as he is able to gain control of the puck completely behind his body and still generate enough speed to slice Slava and Scuds right in half.

    He's # 12 right?

"Created chances"? Dude, he's so invisible that we need to call Dr. Venkman, Ray, and Egon to find him.

I was lucky enough to have tivo the game. Once I saw the first goal, I just fast forwarded the game until the Kings scored to tie and then again until they lost. It is much easier to watch.

What they had last year they don't have anymore. I thought teams would fear the Kings but now they want to play them. They have won three games, one against a good Vancouver team that they won in an SO, a Phoenix team with a terrible goalie in net and a Columbus team that is rebuilding.

Wake up the Stanley Cup Champions because they are about to sleep out of the playoffs.

Well that sucked. I would have much rather lost 3-1 by not score and they score an EN goal. Pretty much figures that would happen. My dad called me right when they tied and the first thing he said was that was awesome, but there are still 45 seconds to go and let's hope they don't blow this. Knowing the Kings that is something they will do... He was right.

    Clifford - wow.
Brown - Brought his hands of stone to this game.
Doughty - almost killed a guy.
    Kopitar - scored a goal
New guy- didn't notice him at all. Forgot he was playing

In the end, I wish I would have slept through that game because it sucked and the ending made it even worse. Oh, btw.. I hate playing the Wings. I have the joy of living in Michigan, so guess what I get to hear about for the next week.

[QUOTE=05/29/93;2638851]Good things have followed hearbreaking losses to the Red Wings in the past. Examples:

2001: Kings tie a regular season game at the Joe in the last minute, then Detroit wins it with a few seconds left (Hmm, that sounds a lot like today). Come the playoffs, the Kings exact their revenge.
2010: Howard stops 51 shots, Detroit beats the Kings with 17 seconds left on a lucky goal by Helm. Not long after that defeat, the Kings won 9 straight, the 9th win being a come from behind 4-3 win over...Detroit.
2012: In March, the Kings have a 3-2 lead with 5 minutes left before the Red Wings score twice in the last 5 minutes to win in regulation 4-3. We all know what ensued for the Kings in the following 3 months.

Stay tuned. I would be more worried if the Kings had been blown out 8-2

I doubt if they can pull it off. Please let me be wrong but....this team sucks and I have no clue why?!?!
