I don't feel like they have played poorly. I feel like they played a good road game against a good team. Some soft coverage on a couple of plays and a few stoppable goals later, here we are. They very well could have won this.

They are much closer in reality than I believe you thought though, and Voynov costs 11.6% of Doughty. Of course, that is expected to go up to $4-5M this summer.

I do appreciate the PK time and the greater focus that Doughty is applying to the defensive side of the game this year and really would just be happy if the PP numbers for Doughty & Voynov were reversed. The PP is just more dangerous with Voynov on it.

i wasnt trying to turn it into doughty vs. voynov. voynov will deserve the big raise coming his way for sure. all i was saying is i think doughty gets too much hate and i dont think people realize how much he contributes.
